I still have to take out the leaf blower to tidy up. I hate using it but there is no other way to clean up the granite gravel pathways.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1048.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1073\" title=\"IMGP1048\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1048-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>The garden is an eclectic mix of formal, wild, native and foreign. Just like me! I just planted these purple kale in a formal semi-circle around the Satin tree.\u00a0 I hope the purple centers expand.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1062.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1074\" title=\"IMGP1062\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1062-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>I transplanted these neon bromiliads because they were burning in the sun and I like the way they look next to the tall impatiens.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1060.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1075\" title=\"IMGP1060\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1060-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>My bronze ( also transplanted) peacock looks fabulous and much happier in the midst of flowers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1061.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1076\" title=\"IMGP1061\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1061-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The magnificent triple planted white and blush Phaleonopsis Danny brought me for Christmas holds vigil by the doorway.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP10481.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1077\" title=\"IMGP1048\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP10481-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Scotch Bonnet peppers with many offspring. Yay!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1049.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1078\" title=\"IMGP1049\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1049-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1050.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1079\" title=\"IMGP1050\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1050-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Another pepper variety that I grew from seed is about to flower. They have taken a long time to flourish &#8211; about 3 months.\u00a0 I think these peppers will be\u00a0 small, hot and purple.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1067.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1080\" title=\"IMGP1067\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1067-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Close up . . .<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1068.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1081\" title=\"IMGP1068\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1068-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A gorgeous reblooming orphan (unnamed) orchid that I have had for about a year. He has another stalk so he must be happy with me.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1052.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1082\" title=\"IMGP1052\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1052-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My Christmas cactus drama queen who will make me wait until well into January before\u00a0 blooming. Smart girl, she didn&#8217;t want to share the stage with Poinsettias, Amaryllis. She is a gorgeous hot pink with orange tendrils. I love the rebloomers!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1066.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1083\" title=\"IMGP1066\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1066-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Speaking of which &#8211; another latenik! This time an Amaryllis.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1063.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1084\" title=\"IMGP1063\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1063-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t resist these bright heat resistant Geraniums. I put three of them in this pot for instant pop!<a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1056.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1094\" title=\"IMGP1056\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1056-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Long purple eggplants keep on coming.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP10542.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1100\" title=\"IMGP1054\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP10542-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the white ones, too . . .<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1055.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1086\" title=\"IMGP1055\" src=\"https:\/\/argyle.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMGP1055-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>My ongoing winter harvest makes me feel lucky and grateful.
